A major long term project for youth vision is the creation of the community woodland at Threipmuir, in the last few years a large number to native trees, including fruit trees have been planted by our young people, as they grow and mature the woodland is expected to become a haven of peace and tranquility and a sancuary for native wildlife.

The Bee project has overseen the instalation of a number of bee hives within this area and as the hives become established it is anticipated that the young people will have the oportunity to engage with beekeeping skills.

Thw boundary walls of the woodland are also used to give instruction in the skills of drystone dyking.
